Interesting that I get to do "G" today. My first word is GOD. I choose to believe. It's a personal decision, and I've made mine. Because I believe, I work to live a life honoring to God. I frequently fail, am forgiven, and try again. CBS Sunday Morning had a segment today on making a case against God. Before I made my decision to live by faith, I too struggled to find facts and evidence. I believe there is enough evidence of God's existence, but it still comes down to faith. So, to Julia Sweeney I say this: If you believe in God and you're right, then death is the end of it and you're just dead. If you don't believe in God and you're wrong, then there is eternal life. Where, then, will you be spending it? This question is not meant to anger, belittle or ridicule in any way; it's a question I asked myself. And I chose to believe.
Giving. Don't you love giving things to others? It's nice to receive gifts, too, but there's such satisfaction in giving.
Grins and giggles. As in grin and bear it. Laughter and grins and giggles make me feel better, and they reduce stress; therefore, they help me live longer. And happier. So the grin is one of the few things I enjoy that is actually good for me! Imagine that!
And last, we have google. Did you google it? Have you googled today? What a great tool. I use it regularly and think it's one of the most useful tools to access information on the internet.
